Hamda Taryam, 24, who gained global acclaim on the Netflix show ‘The Fastest,’ passed away, Khaleej Times reported on Saturday. However, it is unclear how she died.

A family friend confirmed the news, with burial arrangements scheduled in Sharjah. Hamda, known for her philanthropy, utilised her earnings to establish a school and hospital in Uganda.

“It is with great sadness and grief that we received the news of her death this (Saturday) morning. We hope the Almighty will give her family fortitude,” UAE media personality Munzir Al Muzaki Al Shamsi shared in a post.

In an August interview with Khaleej Times, Hamda expressed a profound joy in aiding orphans through her philanthropic endeavours. Her funeral, following Emirati customs, is set for this week. “Rest in peace Hamda Taryam Al Shamsi. May God have mercy on your soul …Thank you for all what you did for humanity,” social media influencer Hassan Sajwani wrote on X.

Condolence meets will adhere to gender-specific gatherings, the Dubai-based newspaper said. Hamda’s social media presence, exemplified by her last posts on Snapchat, provides a glimpse into her daily life.

Her final message, posted on Friday, reveals her journey to Abu Dhabi. Hamda Taryam’s legacy extends beyond the racetrack, reflecting her commitment to charitable causes.
