Kim’s Sister Slams South Korea Drills, Says President Yoon Seeks Escalation To Escape Impeachment

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s sister slammed Seoul for recent military drills near the border. Kim Yo Jong slammed the “undisguised war game (and) an inexcusable and explicit provocation that aggravates the situation.” Kim Yo Jong, who is a key regime spokesperson, also dubbed the drills “suicidal hysteria, for which they will have to sustain terrible disaster.” The warning came after Seoul resumed live-fire drills on border islands and by the demilitarised zone that divides the Korean Peninsula. Kim Yo also warned that if Seoul’s exercises breach the North’s sovereignty “our armed forces will immediately carry out its mission”. Kim Yo also criticised recent trilateral drills between the US, South Korea and Japan, saying they were “the height of confrontational hysteria.” Watch the video to find out more.
